Inside Out Recovery would like to thank Connor’s Heart for the generous sponsorship which assisted our agency very much! Inside Out Recovery is based on peer experience-peers in recovery helping peers. Our peers are highly trained and certified in many modalities to assist with the challenges that are faced by people trapped in addiction. We are able to distribute Narcan and teach through groups and individual sessions to assist people who are reaching for recovery. We honor Lisa for her bravery and her willingness to turn the pain of losing her son into positive action to assist others who are struggling. This donation particularly means a lot to our agency as we are peer driven and non-clinical, thus we cannot participate in billing Medicaid for our services. It is through funders such as Connor’s Heart that we are able to continue on with the rewarding work of reaching out to those who are struggling and share hope! Recovery works!

Connor’s Heart created something truly powerful with the two benefit shows they produced in Austin. These weren’t just performances. They were acts of compassion, community, and life‑saving impact. Thanks to the funds raised, RecoveryATX was able to provide eight full months of harm‑reduction support, including Narcan distribution, community access to fentanyl test strips, and overdose‑reversal training. That support directly protected some of the most vulnerable people in our community.
What Connor’s Heart did was more than raise money. They helped give people the tools, knowledge, and confidence to save lives. They turned art into action and transformed two single nights of entertainment into months of hope, safety, and second chances. We are deeply grateful for the difference they made in the Austin community.
